The Deerfield Tigers

A Federal League Team - FederalLeague.com

The Deerfield Tigers are a Semi Professional baseball organization in the Federal Baseball League and was founded in 2008. A majority of Deerfield Tigers' players are current or former college athletes who wish to continue playing competitive baseball. In the short existence of the team, the Tigers have improved dramatically and have become a force in the Federal League. In the Fall 2008 season, the Deerfield Tigers made it all the way to the Federal League's Championship series, falling just short of the Title.

This year, the Tigers will compete in their third season in the Federal League and look to bounce back from the tough loss in the Championship Series last Fall. In the 2009 off season, the Tigers greatly improved their roster with new players, as well as bringing back the core of the team with the players that have been on since the team's founding.

With the team's improved roster and dedication to excellence, there is no telling how far the Deerfield Tigers will go in the 2009 season.
